TWO weeks ago I wrote to your paper criticising David Cameron’s cuts, particularly with regard to the withdrawal of the subsidy for senior citizens on coach travel.
At the same time I stated that the Government should adopt the policy of “charity begins at home”.
Huge amounts of money are being spent on Libya, Afghanistan etc. Millions of pounds are being given away to other countries and now I read in one of Sunday’s nationals, that £42m in child benefits are being sent to Eastern Europe (£2m per month to Polish children alone).
What are you playing at Cameron? Time to think of people in the UK!
