Bus passengers can have their say about services at a special surgery on Tuesday.
The event, organised by passenger group Bus Users UK, will be held on board a bus parked in the city centre.
Managers from the Oxford Bus Company, Stagecoach, Thames Travel, Heyfordian Travel, Arriva and National Express will be there, along with officials from Oxfordshire County Council and watchdog group Passenger Focus.
The bus will be parked in Broad Street, outside Balliol College, from 10am to 3.30pm.
Bus Users UK’s Oxford group chairman Hugh Jaeger said: “Queries may include aspects of Oxford’s Quality Bus Partnership, which introduced joint ticketing and timetabling in July.
“Joint ticketing has been mostly welcomed, but some have complained it does not include all Oxford bus companies. Passengers have been more critical of joint timetabling, which has cut the frequency of buses by up to 50 per cent on some routes.”
For anyone unable to get to the surgery, Bus Users UK is holding one of its six-monthly bus users’ forums at Oxford Town Hall, in St Aldate’s, on Tuesday, October 25.
Representatives from the Oxford Bus Company, Stagecoach, Arriva and the county council will answer questions at the forum, which starts at 6.30pm in the assembly room.
