A pony might be part of the package for whoever buys a 16th-century house near Thame.
Juliet Hope, who owns Grade-II listed Sandy Lane, in Tiddington, said: “We have a lovely pony which my two girls learned to ride on but are too old for now.
“If they are the right people, then perhaps the pony could stay here.”
Mrs Hope bought the property with her late husband three years ago, when they refurbished it.
She said: “It is the most wonderful place and we have been so happy here but my husband Christopher passed away nine weeks ago and I am in a position where I want to move.
“My ten-year-old twins are at the Dragon School so I want somewhere in the centre of Oxford that is within walking distance and would like to complete the sale before Christmas.
“It will be hard to leave but the three of us need a fresh start.”
The house has original features such as a bread oven and exposed beams and includes a kitchen/breakfast room, dining room, sitting room and family room.
There is also a ground-floor annex with sitting room and bedroom plus a converted granary that is used as an office and pool house with kitchen, shower, tackroom and stables.
The house is set in almost nine acres, including paddocks and a swimming pool.
Sandy Lane is on the market for offers of more than £1m.
