Dozens of artists, including an up-and-coming young photographer, are showing off their work at a Bicester exhibition.
St Edburg’s Church opened its doors for its third annual art show to give people in and around the town a chance to showcase their work. Work from about 30 artists os featured, including paintings, sculpture and photography.
Organiser Colin Cockshaw said: “There are two ideas behind the exhibition, one is to raise funds for the next phase of work at the church, and the other is to open the church to the community.
“The exhibition gives local people an opportunity to show their work and also to bring people into the church.
“We want to make the church a community building, not just a place of worship.”
Jamie Unwin, 16, of Islip, is exhibiting his wildlife photography work for the first time.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, when there will also be a craft fair at the church with stalls selling crafts such as jewellery, silverwork and handmade cards.
