A man suffered a suspected fractured skull during an attack near a church in Abingdon.
Two men, aged 34 and 53, were beaten up outside St Helen’s Church, in West St Helen’s Street at about 11.15pm on Saturday. The older man was taken to hospital with head injuries.
The incident followed a row between the pair and a group of three men and three girls sitting on a nearby bench, police said.
One of the men was about 19 years old, 5ft 5in tall, with brown spiked hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt with dark lettering.
One of the girls was aged about 16, about 5ft 3in, with long brown hair.
