POLICE are appealing for help to try to catch vandals who caused £1,000 damage at a community centre.
Ceewood Hall, in Fettiplace Road, Witney, was targeted on Monday night when five windows were smashed by large stones.
The community centre's windows have been broken on at least two other occasions recently and police believe the same people may have been responsible.
PC Ross Clarkson, of Witney Police, said: "It is very sad that the windows of the centre have been broken yet again. The damage is estimated at about £1,000.
"I hope parents will ask their children where they were and who they have been with. I also think there are plenty of young people in the town who have information about this and I would urge them to get in touch with me or Crimestoppers anonymously."
Anyone with information should contact PC Ross Clarkson, of Witney Police, on 0845 8 505 505 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
