Most of us have wondered what happens at the zoo once everyone goes home.
And families found out when the Cotswold Wildlife Park, near Burford, opened its doors at night for the first time.
It was an opportunity to see nocturnal animals wide awake.
Suzie and Alex Hoodless, 38 and 39, of Swinbrook, took along their two daughters, Arabella, nine, and Amber, seven, both pictured with a Frogmouth bird.
Arabella said: “It was really cool because normally the nocturnal animals are asleep and not doing much."
It was the first time the park opened at night and it now plans to stage similar events 2012.
