Craftproducers came together to share their secrets.
The first Crafty Networking Event was held at O3 Gallery in Oxford Castle where producers could meet up with anyone interested in their skills.
Pictured from left are local handbag designer Verity Warne, Richard Shock with his hand carved bowls and gallery manager Helen Statham.
Ms Statham said: “The aim is to bring together local craft producers with local shops and galleries.
“We hope more members of the public will come to take up craft skills that have dwindled.”
Ms Warne believes such events are vital to keeping crafts going.
She said: “My mum was an amazing seamstress and she taught me. It is good that these skills get passed down.
“There is real interest in handmade things. People really appreciate the craft that goes into them.”
Ms Warne, whose bags are marketed under the name Made by Loulabelle, makes bags from vintage fabrics from her home in Horspath village.
