Nick Baldwin gave them the lead with victory against Cyril Trinder, only for Richard Carter to bring them level.

Cricketers made it all-square via Roger Cotterell's victory, before wins from Paul Champ and Alan Eckart put Legion 4-2 up.
Although Cricketers won the pairs 2-1, it wasn't enough.
Shelley Arms A closed the gap on the leaders to two points after a 7-2 success at Red Lion A.

That sparked Shelley into action as they took a 4-1 lead. Although Steve Gaisford pulled one back, Shelley won the pairs 3-0.
