NEWLY-promoted Oxfordshire play their first game of the season at home to Derbyshire in Division 2 of the Kaliber Inter Counties Dart League this weekend.
After a brilliant run that has seen them promoted from Division 4 to Division 3, and Division 3 to Division 2 in consecutive seasons, they are looking forward to challenging for promotion to Division 1, and they welcome Louise Carroll to the Ladies A team.
The games will be played at Cowley Community Centre on Saturday and Sunday, with the action due to start at midday on both days.

Nick Baldwin gave them the lead with victory against Cyril Trinder, only for Richard Carter to bring them level.
Tony Allday then rattled off a maximum 180 to put Littlemore back in front.
Cricketers made it all-square via Roger Cotterell's victory, before wins from Paul Champ and Alan Eckart put Legion 4-2 up.
Although Cricketers won the pairs 2-1, it wasn't enough.
Shelley Arms A closed the gap on the leaders to two points after a 7-2 success at Red Lion A.
Simon Powell gave Shelley the lead with victory against Keith Abrey, with Lions levelling despite a 180 from Ally Walls.
That sparked Shelley into action as they took a 4-1 lead. Although Steve Gaisford pulled one back, Shelley won the pairs 3-0.

County chairman, Jim Jukes, got the Tuns off to a good start with a 3-1 victory, followed by Phil Addison who had the same 3-1 scoreline.
But Jon Jukes (22.89 average) lost his set 3-2 to Acres' man of the match Kevin Middleton (24.39).
Pete Newman (23.48) then restored Tuns' advantage with a 3-0 success.
Acres got it back to a one-set difference as Joe Palmer (22.43) beat Dave Essex 3-0.
Paul Freeman put Tuns a set from victory with a 3-2 defeat of John Wigg (22.22) and Barrie Stratford (25.17) put the result beyond doubt with a 3-1 win.
Tuns' man of the match Pete Hall (25.91) and Roger Haines (22.77) then sealed the rout with 3-0 wins.
