Kennington Athletic Yellow looked in control of this match from the start with some great passing and movement. A spirited Littlemore side weren’t going to be beaten easily and defended a series of attacks and goal mouth scrambles brilliantly. Littlemore looked dangerous on the break and forced a couple of good saves from the Kennington goalkeeper as the first half ended all square at 0 - 0.
In the second half Kennington continued to dominate the match and eventually opened the scoring with a fantastic strike from Oscar Griffiths. The goal seamed to give Kennington more energy as they continued to control the match and it was settled with further well worked and finished goals from Kieran Clarke and Jacob Pattison. Littlemore, in only their second ever match, can hold their heads up high as they never gave up and battled really well.
The match and ensuing friendly conveniently finishing just in time for most players and parents to make it to their cars before the heavens opened.
