The second repatriation from RAF Brize Norton will take place tomorrow at about 2.30pm, it was confirmed last night.
Lance Corporal Jonathan McKinlay, of First Battalion The Rifles, was killed in Afghanistan last Wednesday.
He was killed by small arms fire while on patrol.
The plane carrying his body is expected to land at RAF Brize Norton at 2.30pm.
The cortege will pass the memorial garden in Norton Way at about 4.30pm, Oxfordshire County Council has said.
It is expected to arrive at the John Radcliffe Hospital by 5.10pm.
About 4,000 people attended the last repatriation from RAF Brize Norton, of Sergeant Barry Weston, two weeks ago.
The base took over the solemn duty from RAF Lyneham on September 1, when RAF Lyneham closed.
A Royal Marine was killed on Monday, but the Ministry of Defence was not able to confirm last night when the repatriation would occur.
The Marine, of 42 Commando, was killed by smalls arms fire in the Helmand province of Afghanistan.
His family have been informed.
