Witney Wangers are collecting unwanted bras in any condition for recycling to raise money for ABC, Against Breast Cancer. Shops, boutiques, fitness centres and even an ironing shop are collecting the bras in and around Witney for the charity, and have to date raised over £100! Hannah Jago, who created the Witney Wangers group says "I decided to fundraise for Against Breast Cancer when a friend was going through treatment and the bra recycling was a fantastic and fun way of raising some money, whilst keeping bras out of landfill which is where they land up usually. The bras get recycled over to West Africa and the recycling company give us about £1 per 17 bras roughly. One man each day is diagnosed with breast cancer so we want men to ask their female friends and relatives to donate their bras too!"
