Opening game of the season for Faringdon and it was a slow start for the boys against a well organised Cholsey team.
With Cholsey having the best of the play it was no surprise when they took a first half lead with a goal from Jake Moores. A great save from the Faringdon keeper, Pierce Reeves, finally spurred the home team into life with Benji Procter unlucky not to equalise. With the first half coming to a close Cholsey created another chance and Jake Moores grabbed his second goal of the game.
The second half a much more even affair with both teams creating further chances to score but neither team able to find the net. Not the start Faringdon were hoping for but well played Cholsey.
