A woman walking her Great Dane was attacked by two young women armed with a golf club in a late night assault.
The 45-year-old was attacked on September 8 at about midnight as she walked along Hamble Road.
The pair approached her, one carrying the golf club, and began slapping and hitting the woman and her dog, leaving her with minor injuries. Police arrested two 19-year-old women from the Didcot area. They were bailed until October 13 pending further enquiries.
