STARS of football, boxing and TV will face each other in a charity football match in Witney tomorrow.
Ex-Arsenal footballers Chris Whyte and Paul Davis will team up with Royle Family star Ralf Little and world champion boxer Terry Marsh.
The team – dubbed the Arsenal XI – will take on Charlbury-based charity SpecialEffect’s XI, which will include Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas and Radio 1 game reviewer Johnny Minkley.
The event will raise cash for SpecialEffect, which uses computer games to help disabled people communicate and have fun.
Mr Thomas said: “SpecialEffect is a fantastic charity and hopefully we’ll get a good crowd to roar us on to victory and raise some much-needed funds.”
The event will also feature a charity raffle, with prizes including a tour of Williams F1 headquarters in Grove and autographed football memorabilia.
It will kick off at Witney Town FC’s Marriotts Stadium in Downs Road at noon.
Tickets cost £5 for adults, £2 for OAPs and under 16s and free for under 5s.
