Saturday 10th September The season has got of to a totally fantastic display of football and a win for St Edmunds under 9's against Hanney Youth. With probably the quickest hatrick we will see this season with in 7 minutes by Harry Thomas the game was over with in the first ten minutes.
But the team never stopped playing some great passing football. Then the other players decided they want to get on the score sheet and up step Zach Wilson who slotted home two goals from close range and on of the post. Five nil lead to Oliver Deans to realise he wanted to help out and then Ollie scored his four goals to make it 10 - 0.
Harry Thomas scored his forth goals and the 11 goal to finish off a really good game of football.
All the team played brilliantly for their first competitive league game in the Oxford Mail league. So well done lads and keep it all going.
Man of the match: Harry Thomas (7 minute hat-trick) but the whole team could of won man of the match.
