YOUNGSTERS in Didcot got up on stage to showcase their talents at the town’s Cornerstone Arts Centre.
The talent show took place at the arts centre in the Orchard Centre on Saturday night.
The show was held to raise thousands of pounds for the charity Macmillan Cancer Support.
Emma Harpaul and comedian Matt Richardson hosted the event, which it is hoped will have raised £4,000.
Miss Harpaul, 21, from Abingdon, operations manager at Feel Fit gym in Cowley, said: “There were about 20 local performers on the night and about 200 people paid to come to watch.
“As well as people paying for tickets there was a donation page on the internet and there was also a raffle, so I think we have raised about £4,000 for Macmillan. The show wasn’t a competition, but it was a good opportunity for local acts to perform in front of a large audience.”
