A lawyer has described alleged breaches of Oxford City Council’s code of conduct by three Labour councillors as “minor and technical”.
Green councillor David Williams had complained that Labour councillors Mohammed Abbasi, Shah Khan and Sajjad Malik did not declare they held taxi licences during a debate on the council’s budget in February, which involved taxi licence fees. In a report, investigating solicitor Nick Graham said their “personal interests” did not prejudice their decision making.
