THERE have been yet more letters in your paper about parking on pavements and bicycles on pavements.
I went out three times last week and each time, only minutes from my front door, I had cyclists aggressively careering towards me on narrow sidewalks.
One shouted at me for not getting out of his way. Another came from behind, hit my arm and almost made me drop my shopping bag, and didn’t even look back.
It has become dangerous for us pensioners (and others) to leave our homes.
The Stratton Way subway is particularly hazardous for pedestrians as cyclists whizz round the corners, missing walkers and pram pushers by millimetres.
Why do we allow ourselves to be frightened and intimidated like this?
