I WAS most disappointed to see that we are now being asked to pay to park our cars at Cutteslowe Park.
I have been taking my children to the park for years, I now walk my dog there.
I believe that parks such as Cutteslowe should be free for all to use and I feel that it is an absolute disgrace that Oxford City Council should decide to start imposing car parking charges. I won’t be using the park anymore.
There are people here in Kidlington who feel the same way.
We have a friend with two young boys who is not using the park anymore.
What happens to the football and cricket teams? Do they have to pay? People will also try and park their cars outside the park in nearby roads, thus blighting the area for local residents.
A nightmare for all concerned.
Shame on you Oxford City Council. Shame on you.
