Ruby Saunders got to grips with a tricky climbing wall at an Abingdon park at the weekend.
The intrepid nine-year-old from Kennington, was among hundreds of people who visited the Fun in the Park event in Abbey Meadows on Sunday.
The climbing wall was one of the main attractions.
Ruby, pictured, proved she had a nead for heights and enthused: “I really enjoyed trying out the climbing wall. It was great fun.”
Dad Mark added: “My daughters Ruby and Stella had asked me to take them to Oxford Brookes University to have a go on their climbing wall, but it was fully booked so we came over to Abingdon instead.”
Fun in the Park, an annual town council organised eventevent, featured food stalls and rides for toddlers and organisations in Abingdon, including the MG Car Club, set up displays to recruit new members.
