Schools in Oxfordshire were last night accused of complacency over their results.
Prime Minister David Cameron used a high-profile speech to draw attention to Oxfordshire’s performance, saying schools were “coasting” and falling behind high-flying inner city schools.
The councillor responsible for Oxfordshire’s schools has said both primaries and secondaries must do better.
