A MODEL dressed in just a pair of shorts attacked a man with a knife in an Oxford street.
Brazilian model Jaison Justi was staying with his sister in the city ahead of a three-month contract in Istanbul when the incident took place on June 2.
The 23-year-old admitted causing actual bodily harm and having an article with a blade or point.
Jonathan Stone, prosecuting at Oxford Crown Court yesterday, said the victim was walking along Botley Road away from the city centre with his girlfriend at about 4.30pm when Justi hit him on the back of the head outside Carphone Warehouse.
After a struggle, Justi raised the knife above his head and his victim tried to defend himself and suffered a cut hand.
Witnesses described the weapon as a large kitchen knife with a serrated edge.
Justi, who was living in Botley Road at the time, has a previous caution in this country in 2007 for possessing ecstasy.
Clare Fraser, defending, said her client was cooking and saw the victim, who owed him £50, walk past the window.
He dashed out in just a pair of shorts, she said. She added: “He hadn’t intended to use the knife, but accepts he had it with him.”
Judge Julian Hall bound Justi over on the condition he pay £400 compensation and leave the country by the end of the month and not return for a year.
He said: “We don’t want you here.”
