Keen gardeners from across Banbury have been rewarded for their green work.
The results of the Banbury in Bloom competition were presented on Wednesday at a special ceremony in Banbury Town Hall, Bridge Street.
Residents and businesses entered categories including best kept allotment, best kept communal area, business premises, back and front gardens, hanging basket, and for youngsters, a poster contest.
Chairman of Banbury in Bloom Nicolas Harrison said: “The Banbury in Bloom Competition flourished once again.
“Entries were a credit to the public of Banbury. While judging I noticed many displays that would have also been worthy of entering.
“This competition celebrates the good in the town through dedication and hard work from many local residents and businesses.
“Congratulations to all who participated. Keep up the good work.”
Ann Sewell, events and projects officer, added: “Full credit must go to all who entered. Congratulations to the children who produced some wonderful colouring posters and to the sunflower growers who once again achieved some tremendous heights.”
Winners included Spencer Court for best kept communal area, while best kept business premises was Little Siam Trust.
