A colouring competition at the Book House in High Street in 1985 produced a crop of entries. The second picture shows the two winners, Amy Enticknap, seven, of Yeates Close, Thame, left, and Leanne Sherwin, six, of Luddsen Grove, Thame.
Teacher Pat Slater made an early start to prepare for the John Hampden School fete in 1981. She drove to Billingsgate market at dawn to buy fresh fish to sell on her stall. She is seen in the third picture with helpers James Burley and Peter Waycott.
