A First Great Western high speed train is being named after the Great Western Society, in honour of its preservation work at Didcot Railway Centre.
The new nameplate on an HST 125 power car is being unveiled by FGW’s managing director Mark Hopwood today.
The society is celebrating its 50th anniversary with two gala weekends at the centre this weekend and next.
