Big Brother's Eugene Sully yesterday locked himself in the studio and played the Muppets theme tune at Oxford's Passion 107.9FM radio station.
The former reality television star locked himself in the closet, where he played the tune constantly until about 4.30pm.
Mr Sully, who was in Big Brother in 2005, started work as chief engineer at the station two days ago.
In what Passion PR man Phil Nixon admitted was a "bit of a publicity stunt", Mr Sully had planned the operation because he was turned down for a job by station director, Clive Dickens, over a decade ago.
Mr Dickens said: "It would now appear that Eugene has been planning this whole thing. His ploy to become employed here has all been part of an elaborate plan to get access to the station and back at me for not employing him 10 years ago."
