PASSERS by were left mystified after a red Nissan Micra ended up on its roof in Oxford.
The car overturned in St Margaret’s Road after colliding with a parked Vauxhall Combo.
Two women in the vehicle managed to get out of the car straight away and were not injured.
A man on scene at the time, who did not wish to be named, said the car had not even been travelling fast.
Referring to the driver, he said: “Thankfully she did not appear to be injured, she was just shaken.
“When you look at how it landed. It could have been so much worse.”
The police were called to the scene of the crash at 9.36am and the road was closed until a recovery lorry arrived.
A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were called but were not needed.
