PENSIONERS came face-to-face with crocodiles and alligators at a conservation centre in Crawley.
The residents of Spencer Court, a care home in Woodstock, visited Crocodiles of the World, which has more than 50 crocs, one of the of the largest collections in the UK.
Felicity Gunter, 72, above, said: “It was fascinating and I loved learning about the animals.
“I have seen them in zoos and on television but I did not know what they were like. You come here and learn what they are all about and their mannerisms. I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
She said the home’s regular outings were important, adding: “It keep us active and gets us out.”
