WESTON-on-the-Green racer Graham Fennymore heads to his home circuit of Silverstone on Sunday, September 24, in defence of his commanding lead in the Autosport Caterham Superlight Challenge.

Fennymore, 41, will be at the wheel of the Taylor Made Joinery-backed Superlight with which he has already claimed four race wins this season. Graham leads the title fight by a 15-point margin.

But despite his handsome lead, Fennymore has no intention of cruising at Silverstone and at the season-closing Brands Hatch rounds next month.

"I'll be pushing hard for podium results," he said. "I work hard to be at the front and I'm only comfortable with my results when I know I have given it everything. I have great respect for the guys close to me in the championship; they will be working hard to narrow the gap, so I can't afford the comfort of easing up."

Breathing down Fennymore's neck are 19-year-old Derbyshire driver Guy Harrington, the reigning Caterham Roadsport champion, and multiple Caterham race winner Ben de Zille Butler. Harrington and de Zille Butler shared the wins at Snetterton, pushing Fennymore back down the podium steps, and they will be keen to do so again.

Fennymore's cause will be supported at Silverstone by a new Hyperion Motorsport team-mate in the shape of newly crown Australian Formula 3 Champion Ben Clucas.
