Classic cars from across the decades took pride of place at Blenheim Palace yesterday.
The Oxfordshire Classic Car Show featured more than 500 vintage cars, including MGs, Jaguars and Triumphs.
It was the sixth year the event, which started on Sunday, had been held at the Woodstock stately home.
Brian Green, 75, from Coalville in Leicestershire, who arrived in his classic 1970 Morris Minor 1000, said: “I thoroughly enjoyed it.
“The variety of motor cars to look at made it very, very interesting.”
He added: “I thoroughly enjoyed the drive down, through the Cotswolds, and I love the palace.” The former car mechanic, first owned a ‘Moggie’ in 1966, said: “I thought I would like to go back to that one again.”
He said he “just loved” classic car shows and attended one most weekends, saying: “It is one of my main hobbies.”
He added: “I was widowed three years ago and it is nice to have something to drop back on.”
Gloucestershire resident Jeff Phillips, 71, attended in his 1953 MG TD.
He said: “Not only is it a classic car meeting, it is a meeting of friends as well.
“We meet with people at these events that we do not see that often.”
