IT will be a sad day when the post office in Horspath closes, especially for the older resident.

Sure the post master committed a crime and paid for it in court, but for the few hundred pounds involved, surely the post office could still let his wife or daughter (who have committed no crime) take over the running of it.

Perhaps if the two sides got around the table and discussed it in an adult manner, something could be worked out.

But it appears there are certain individuals in Horspath who have gone out their way to spread damaging and totally untrue gossip!

Quite why these individuals want the post office closed only they know, but if the closure goes ahead, then they will be as much to blame for the closure as Mr Patel and the only ones to suffer will be the residents, especially our senior residents.
