ABUSE the system and you’re out on your ear. But this doesn’t seem to apply to government.
The outed Treasury chief, David Laws, who claimed unjustified housing expenses for years to the tune of £56,000, is to be offered another job in the Government because he paid this money back once he was out of government. It doesn’t alter the fact that he broke the law and abused his position and I’m sure that the electorate, like myself, believe if he’s out of office, he stays out.
It’s wrong that the Government uses Parliament as a little boys’ club where they look after their own.
