AN elderly woman who collided with a car as she crossed a road has died of her injuries, police said last night.
The 90-year-old was initially thought by paramedics not to have suffered life-threatening injuries after the collision in Oxford Road, Woodstock, at 10.21am on Sunday.
She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital but later died, a police spokesman said.
The woman - who has not yet been named but is thought to be local - was crossing the road when she collided with a VW Polo travelling towards Oxford.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to call Pc Dan Henderson of Bicester Roads Policing on 08458 505505.
