You've seen them on television and heard them sing but now a choir formed on an Oxford estate for a TV documentary is searching for new recruits.
The choir was formed when amateur singers from Blackbird Leys made it through auditions to star at the Royal Albert Hall for a television documentary - dubbed the Ox-Factor.
But as numbers dwindled once the television dream ended, the choir was left without key figures such as altos, sopranos and tenors.
After the TV show - The Singing Estate - finished, the choir managed to enlist vocal coach Andrew Stewart and Oxford Philomusica music director Marios Papa- dopoulos.
Between 25 and 30 members of the original choir remain, and rehearsals are set to begin for a concert at Oxford's Sheldonian Theatre next year where they will be performing songs from the musical West Side Story.
Would-be choristers are invited to the first rehearsal on Wednesday, September 20, at 6.30pm at Orchard Meadow Primary School, Wesley Close. Blackbird Leys.
Mr Stewart said: "I'm not expecting people who attend to be able to read music or be extremely experienced. I'd be delighted to see anyone who is interested and enthusiastic."
