A MAN in his 20s suffered multiple stab wounds after he was attacked during a row in a pub near Thame.

The 22-year-old victim was stabbed several times in the neck, chest and stomach at the Three Pigeons pub in London Road, Milton Common at 12.50am yesterday.

He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

A spokesman for Oxfordshire Ambulance Service said: "The man suffered multiple injuries to his neck, chest and abdomen. His injuries are thought to be serious, but not life-threatening."

There is no description of the offender apart from his dark coloured T-shirt.

Police want to trace a white man with short cut dark hair, wearing jeans and a white shirt, who was in the pub at the time.

It is believed he left the pub in the company of a white female. She had long blond hair and was wearing a dark dress.

A member of staff at the Three Pigeons said they were helping police and declined to comment.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Det Sgt Alan Clements, of Thame CID, on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
