CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity, has teamed up with Oxfordshire Limited Edition magazine, photographer Charlie Waite and www.uklandscape.net, a website full of amazing British landscape photography, to scout for the best amateur landscape photographer among you!

If you have a keen eye for a good landscape and want to get involved, all you have to do is send your best landscape photo in, along with a minimum donation of £5, and your work of art will be entered into the competition.

Every day, five families in the UK hear the news that their child has cancer. CLIC Sargent offers support through every step of the difficult and often, sudden, journey that then follows.

Funding specialist clinical care, help in the home, holidays, and research into treatment as well as providing financial support, CLIC Sargent offers families a lifeline when the unimaginable happens. All the money raised as a result of the competition will go directly to CLIC Sargent to help fund these services.

The competition will be judged by Charlie Waite, one of Britain's most famous and best-loved landscape photographers.

Of his passion for landscapes Charlie says: "Sometimes the light, the colour, the shapes and the balance all interlock so beautifully that I feel truly overwhelmed by the wonder of it."

There are three fantastic prizes up for grabs for those entering.

FIRST PRIZE: A print taken and signed by Charlie Waite.

SECOND PRIZE: A place on a weekend photography course at Farncombe's Estate in the Cotswolds.

THIRD PRIZE: A day's experience with professional landscape photographer, Terry Wigley.

The winning photographs will be printed in Oxfordshire Limited Edition magazine and a selection of the best entries will be exhibited at the Marmalade Caf Gallery in Oxford during November.
