Fire officers believe arsonists may have started a blaze that destroyed 250 tonnes of bailed straw and 300 old tyres on a farm near Watlington yesterday.
Four crews were need to deal with the fire, which broke out at about 4pm at Windmill Farm off Britwell Road.
On Friday, firefighters worked through the night tackling another major farm blaze, in which more than 4,000 hay bales were destroyed. Six crews were called shortly after 6.30pm to the fire in Kingham, near Chipping Norton, and two worked through the night.
