THESE children will be making sure they aren’t late for the White Rabbit at Oxford Castle today.
Alice Day is taking place across the city with Creation Theatre running drama workshops allowing youngsters to step into Wonderland for themselves.
Creation workshop leader Norry Leonard said: “We’ll be exploring the story as we do at our holiday workshops and drama club in the atmospheric Oxford Castle.
“We encourage children to tell stories in their own way and they all have an equal share of the roles, so expect several Alices wandering around Wonderland!”
Children will be taught whole scenes from Alice in Wonderland.
Their productions will then be performed in the Castle gardens at 2pm.
Abigail Walton, nine, said: “Creation Theatre lets your imagination flow. It’s really fun.”
Alice Day marks the anniversary of the first telling of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll to Alice Liddell in 1862.
