OXFORD 3rd closed the gap at the top of Division 6, despite suffering a three-wicket defeat against Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd.
With leaders Bourton Vale 2nd's match at Wolverton rained off, Oxford were bowled out for 151 by Crispin Andrews (5-38).
Colin Ball hit 55 for Oxford, who made Town work hard for the runs, closing on 152-7.

Leighton remain four points behind third-placed Great & Little Tew 2nd, who had an easy win over rock-bottom Sandford St Martin 2nd.
Put into bat, Tew declared after 43 overs on 239-5, as Andy Darby hit 71.
Ian Crofts then took 3-21 in a 15-over spell as Sandford were shot out for 122.

Kidlington 2nd climbed above Abingdon Vale 2nd at the foot of the table after beating them by seven wickets.
Leighton James took 6-57 and Eddie Willmot 3-15 as Vale were bowled out for 151. Craig Woods was unbeaten on 34 when victory was secured.

Fine innings of 63 from Nick Edmondson and 44 from Neil Smith took Tiddington to 176-7 and victory over Bledlow Ridge 2nd, who only managed 172-7.
