CUMNOR are the champions after they pulled off an impressive run chase in the wind and rain to defeat Bledlow Ridge in Division 2.
An heroic captain's innings from Geoff Walford (94no) sealed the victory and with it the points his club needed to clinch their first division two title. They have led the table from the first week.
Russ Turner had hit 121 and John Cooper 75 as Ridge piled on 293-7 after being put into bat.
Cumnor opener James Neilson then made 49 and Ali Morteza a whirlwind 48 before Walford and Ayaz Khan (37no) finished the job with five overs and three wickets in hand.

Witney Mills now seem sure to start next season in Division 3 after they lost to Bourton Vale by four wickets.
Vale skipper Nick Anderson took 5-23, including a hat-trick in which all three victims were bowled, as Mills limped to 122 all out. Extras top-scored with 37.
The home side moved to within two points of second place by scrambling their way to 123-6.

Kingston Bagpuize's South African wrist-spinner Mo Seedat revelled in the blustery conditions, taking 7-43 as Henley 2nd were bowled out for 170.
Earlier, he had fared well with the bat, hitting 56 in Kingston's 258-6, which also featured a rapid 90 in 76 balls from Martin Shepherd, who stroked four sixes and seven fours and added 118 for the third wicket with Dave Warner (34).

Left-armers Danny Hartley (4-50) and Paul White (4-62) proved too good for Tiddington's fragile batting line-up as Abingdon Vale prevailed by 14 runs.
Ben Humpage top-scored for Vale with 39, while Richard Manger took 5-53 and John Richardson 3-47.
Alex Mackie (58) gave the visitors a chance before they eventually succumbed for 173 in 47 overs.

Second-placed Great & Little Tew were spared the long trip to Leighton Buzzard Town when the match was called off due to heavy morning rain.
Victory for Tew at home to Kingston Bagpuize next week would guarantee them second place and promotion to Division 1 for the first time.
