ABINGDON: A 59-year-old woman has appeared in court charged with slavery offences.
Eileen Conners of Oaks Caravan Park, Abingdon, was arrested alongside two men after a police raid on a travellers’ site near Southampton on Friday.
Yesterday she appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court and was bailed until July 4.
John Conners, 26, of Thomas Lewis Way, Swaythling, Southampton and Jerry Conners, 19, of Swindon, were both remanded in custody until the same date.
