WE all know we need to recycle. Most people genuinely want to do what they can to make a difference.
That is why councils need to do everything they can to make it easy, simple and cheap for everybody to play their part. Plucking charges out of the air depending on whether you put your garden waste in a wheelie bin or a bag is just not on.
The paper sacks being sold at 20 for £35 cannot cost more than a few pence to produce, so it seems a little absurd to set such an arbitrary charge.
