THESE Oxford day trippers were clearly having a good time.
The lack of coats suggests the weather was kind, too.
They were members of the women’s section at the Royal British Legion Club in Hadow Road, Marston, Oxford.
The party were spending the day sightseeing in Canterbury, Kent. It is believed the picture was taken about 20 years ago.
We know the names of some of those who travelled – Dennis Holmes, Frank Williams, Marion Maskell, Beryl Holmes, Chris Worth, Hazel Bonney, Margaret Ayres, Mr and Mrs Harry Bridges, Hilda Dobson and Beryl Chindinton, who sent in the picture.
