Police are appealing for information after a distinctive scooter was stolen from Headington.

The mint green 200cc Piaggio Vespa PX200E, registration YR52 YNU was stolen from Woodlands Road between Saturday, May 14, and Sunday 15 May.

The scooter has a carry rack at the back, metal feet on the kick stand and it has a sticker on the front stating ‘Celtic Scooter Club’ with a picture of a dragon on it.

Detective Sergeant Richard Pickering, from the Oxford Auto Crime Team, said: “If you notice someone selling it or you know anyone who has recently acquired a scooter that fits the above description please contact police.

“Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area between Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15, should contact police.”
