Thousands of pounds are believed to have been raised for the children's facilities at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital through a sponsored walk on SaturdayAugust 26.
Claire Mulligan, 32, whose daughter Lauryn, four, has a heart condition, organised the walk, from the John Radcliffe to the Black Bull pub in Kidlington.
She said: "It was an absolutely fantastic day. There were 35 adults and 10 children taking part, including Jordan, Lauryn's 13-year-old brother.
"We were hoping to raise £3,500 but we might have raised more. I would like to thank everyone who took part and everyone who helped, as well as all the businesses which donated raffle prizes."
