AFTER Prince William was made the Duke of Cambridge yesterday, an Oxford cocktail bar is looking to update its image.
The Duke of Cambridge, in Little Clarendon Street, has the face of Prince Adolphus, who was the Duke of Cambridge from 1774 to 1850, hanging up outside.
But owner Julian Rosser wants to swap it for the fresher face of Prince William.
He said: “We will be changing our sign to a picture of William now. If we are allowed to.
“We knew it was a possibility that they were going to take these titles but it was not announced until about 9am.
He added: “It would be more fitting to have Prince William as our sign than Prince Adolphus, because we’re a cocktail bar and we’re not an old pub any more."
