Didcot Town Youth U9's 5 Didcot Casuals U9's 2 Didcot Town came from behind to beat cup holders Didcot Casuals to win the league title. The first game was very tight with few chances. Casuals scored early to take the lead and held on to the lead in the second half despite chances from Jack White, Josh Lyons and Nathan Sandland. Despite the best efforts of Jamie Barrett, Ben Marshall, Joseph Madge, Dylan Richards and Jack Tinsley they could not find a way past the Casuals keeper. The first game finished 1-0 to Casuals. Didcot Town dominated the second game and after James Pearson, Charlie McDermaid and Declan Hargreaves had all gone close for the home team, Declan Hargreaves scored from Charlie McDermaid's flick on to put Didcot Town in front. James Pearson added a second shortly afterwards. Didcot added three further goals in the second half through Declan Hargreaves, who completed his hat trick and Jack Hooper. Didcot continued to push, driven on by Liam Vaughan, Tyler Brown, Louie Bumpass and Fred Bradshaw and excellent keeping from Callum Denton they failed to add to the score. Casuals got a late consolation but there was jubilant scenes at the final whistle as Didcot Town made it eighteen out of eighteen to win the league. The second game finished 5-1 (5-2 on aggregate to Didcot Town). Praise should go to both sides as the games were played in excellent spirit.
