THE Oxford Mail has been shortlisted in three categories for the Regional Press Awards this year.
Judges today named us in the category for Daily Newspaper of the Year with a circulation below 25,000.
They also have shortlisted our sportsdesk in the Special Supplement section for the 60-page season Road To Wembley round-up for Oxford United just before the promotion game.
One of our sub-editors, Angela Swann, has been shortlisted for Designer of the Year for her work on our entertainments section, The Guide.
The Oxford Mail’s sister paper, The Oxford Times, was also shortlisted in the Weekly Newspaper with a circulation below 20,000.
The awards ceremony will be held in London on Wednesday, May 11.
